Theme: Strengthening Competence Through Ethnomathematics

Provide leadership in improving the quality of mathematics teacher education
Promote research that will address relevant issues in mathematics education
Facilitate the exchange of information about current research work and teaching methods among mathematics teacher educators
Encourage and foster collaboration with members of other recognized mathematical, scientific, and educational institutions
